The feature film was shot in and around Burlington, Ontario. It features, in addition to Steve Smith as Red Green and Patrick McKenna as Harold, Graham Greene, Peter Keleghan, Bob Bainborough, Wayne Robson, Jeff Lumby and Jerry Schaefer. Ronny Hawkins, Sheila McCarthy and Jayne Eastwood make cameo appearances.

The script, written by Steve Smith, sees the beloved Possum Lodge at risk of becoming town property. The Lodge members are taken to court by big-shot executive Robert Stiles, played by Richard Fitzpatrick, whose limousine was damaged while parking at the Lodge. The Lodge crowd are ordered to pay $10,000 in damages within ten days or they lose the lodge to the town. After dismissing other fundraising ideas, the team decides to enter a Duct-Tape Festival contest in Minneapolis-St. Paul, where a competition to create 'something' made of at least 50% Duct Tape has a third-place prize of $10,000. Naturally, the Possum gang decide to go for the bronze.

Obstacles ensue as the boys try to get to their destination in time. Mr. Stiles has ulterior motives and tries to prevent the crew from even arriving in Minneapolis-St. Paul.

The movie is executive produced by David Smith (The Red Green Show) and produced by Sari Friedland (Degrassi, Riverdale). It is directed by Eric Till (The Girl Next Door, Bonhoeffer: Agent of Grace). The film is produced with the participation of Telefilm Canada and The Harold Greenberg Fun and in association with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
