Medical Specialties Division
Medical Specialties employs a wide range of innovative 3M technologies to meet the worldwide needs of the medical device, bioanalytical, diagnostic, cosmetic and consumer health care business-to-business markets. Under ISO and device GMP certification, the department develops and manufactures adhesives, tapes, films, components, nonwovens, release liners, specialty polymers and ingredients for global distribution. The high quality materials are provided as individual components, semi-finished or finished goods to meet business-to-business customer needs.
Major Markets: Medical device; surgical; bioanalytical; diagnostics; cosmetic; consumer health care; ophthalmic lens manufacturing and time temperature monitoring.
Distribution: Medical device converters, direct sales, distributors and local sales agencies.
