BRIGHT IDEA - Sentence Scramble
Select one or more sentences from a favorite book, and write the words on separate Word Strips (include punctuation). Stick the words up in random order and ask your child to put them back into sentences.
BRIGHT IDEA - Need for Speed
Create a racetrack around your classroom wall using Word Strips. Break your class into two teams and allow each team to "race" by writing words within a word family. The team to get farthest along the track wins.
